Ian has been teaching guitar since 2016 and has taught at various private music schools, moe schools as well as to private students. He is fortunate to have had the opportunity to guide and help students develop their musical interests, be it for graded examinations (under ABRSM or LCM) or leisure guitar playing. 

Apart from playing with other like-minded individuals in a band (with experience performing at SCAPE bandstand, Stewords Riverboat & The Axis Auditorium), he is also a part of the Singapore Tremolo Strings group and have performed at the Esplanade Recital Studio in collaboration with Harmonica Aficionados Society.

He has mostly focused on the electric and classical guitar until the circuit breaker, when he started exploring solo fingerstyle playing on the acoustic guitar and working on a side project making cover arrangements for soundtracks used in Maplestory; a game he used to spend all, if not most of his teenage time (and cash) on.
